Strategies in Ethnic Conflict (1997)

In 1997 Gevorg Ter-Gabrielyan participated in the 'Preventing Violent Conflict in Europe' project at Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (which was then situated in Ebenhausen). This book and the publication in it resulted from that research.

At that time not many people understood that violent ethnic conflicts can become antagonistic and zero-sum. They can be manipulated by powers, but it is wrong to expect them to subside on their own. They tend to progtract, unless are crashed violently.
